About this course
This course teaches gouache painting step by step. You start with the basic painting tools, including brushes, palettes, colors and types of paper, then learn mixing, gradients and applying paint on paper. After that you learn to prepare a landscape painting, paint the background and the base of the painting, work on the finishing stage and the blending of colors, paint lighting in a simple way and choose the canvas. Then you move on to painting waves, shaping clouds realistically, painting a boat in fine detail, creating a soft base with acrylic, painting a bottle and a rose, and you finish with the final touches, lighting and completing the details. The course suits beginners, painting hobbyists and anyone who wants to learn gouache from the start. You need no previous experience, because the lessons begin with the tools and how to mix color. Afterwards you will be able to create gouache paintings such as landscapes, sea scenes and small objects, and add lighting and details yourself. All you need is brushes, gouache paints, paper and the willingness to try and practice each stage.
