About this course

This course teaches DaVinci Resolve, the video editing and color correction software, from the beginning. It starts with an introduction to editing, then getting to know the software, opening a new project and organizing projects, a tour of the interface, and importing and organizing videos and images. Next you learn the Cut page and working with layers in the Timeline, editing with the Transform tool, the tools for cutting, merging and speed, and adding transitions and effects to scenes. Then you move to the Edit page and the Inspector window, adding text, and animation with Key Frame. In the last part you learn the Color page and Color Correction, then exporting the video and setting the export options. This course suits anyone who wants to learn video editing, whether you are a beginner, a content creator or interested in filming. You need no previous editing experience, because the explanation starts from zero and moves step by step, working on the software itself. By the end, you will be able to edit a complete video, correct its colors and export it with suitable settings.
