About this course

This course teaches data analysis and visualization with Tableau, from loading data to designing the dashboard. It starts with the introduction and downloads, then bringing data into Tableau, interpreting and editing it in two parts, combining it and exporting it. After that you design many kinds of charts: text tables, the line curve and dual line with advanced settings, grouping data with the Set tool, the dot plot, heat maps, side axes, the stacked curve, maps, the Pareto chart and the Lollipop chart. Then you create performance indicators and interactive arrows, and design the dashboard in two parts. The course suits data analysts, accountants, business managers and anyone who wants to show numbers clearly. You do not need previous experience with Tableau, because the course starts from downloading the program and explains each chart with hands-on practice. The course presents each type of chart with a practical example on real data, so you understand when to use each chart and why. By the end you will be able to analyze your data, chart it and build an interactive dashboard that shows performance indicators clearly.
