About this course

This course teaches Oracle APEX, a development environment that lets you create web, mobile and database applications from the browser without writing much code. It starts with an overview of Oracle APEX, downloading, installing, running the tool and setting up your first application. Next you learn SQL, Quick SQL, SQL Utilities and AppBuilder, then Reports, Forms, Advanced Forms and the types of Regions and Items. Then you work with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Dynamic Actions, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Validation and Branching. At the end you learn Authentication, Authorization and Deployment, and you carry out a practical project in several parts. The course suits beginners in application development, people interested in databases and anyone who wants to build web applications quickly, and no previous experience is required. Afterward you will be able to create a complete web application with reports, forms and user permissions. The teaching is practical and gradual, and you follow the lessons in order to move from the idea to the application step by step.
