About this course

This course teaches children the basics of graphic design using the Canva platform, in a fun way suited to young ages from five to eight years old, and it is taught in English. The course starts with the definition of graphic design, then signing up for Canva and exploring the navigation bar, account settings, the main menu, the side bar and the Canva tools. After that the child learns what a logo is and how to edit a ready-made logo or design a logo from zero, then what a poster is and how to create one from ready-made templates or from scratch. Then the child gets to know animation, designs a forest scene and animates the animals, and learns what an infographic is and how to create one from templates or from zero, and at the end downloads the interactive exercises. This course suits children who love drawing, helps them learn design vocabulary in English, and suits parents who are looking for a useful activity. The child needs no previous experience. After the course the child can design a logo, a poster and a simple infographic and add motion to the designs.
