About this course

This course teaches the German language to children through letters, numbers, simple science and educational games, and it suits children from three to six years old. It starts with the German letters, pronunciation and the alphabet song, then moves on to numbers from zero to ten and up to one hundred, with a numbers song. After that the child gets to know colors, shapes, animals, fruits, vegetables, jobs, sports, body parts, clothes, telling the time, the seasons and daily habits, and finishes with short conversations. At the end of the course there is a program and educational games to download and run on a computer, covering letters, numbers, daily skills and simple science. The course is made for parents who are looking for a fun way to teach German to kids at home, and the child needs no previous experience in the language. By the end, the child will know the German letters and their sounds, pronounce words more clearly, count in German, understand body parts, colors and animals, and get ready for school entry tests.
