About this course

This course teaches the C# programming language and how to develop programs with it on the .NET platform. It starts with highlights from the course, then the first steps with C#, the tools for designing the program interface, Events, programming rules, statements that control the flow of the program, and functions and arrays. After that it moves on to object-oriented programming, inheritance, building the program structure and the class library. Then it explains the basic concepts of databases, the SQL query language and ADO.NET technology, building web applications and the XML markup language, reports, exceptions and error handling, data types, working with files and drawing, and creating libraries and controls. The course suits beginners and anyone who wants to learn to build programs in a modern language, and it needs no previous experience. By the end you will be able to build programs with graphical interfaces that connect to databases and work with the web and with files. The course also helps if you want to get to know the .NET languages and tools in an organized, step-by-step way from the beginning.
