ArchiCAD
This course teaches ArchiCAD, one of the best-known BIM modeling programs for architectural drawing and design. Instead of drawing only with points and lines, you add architectural elements directly to the project. You start with the interface, options and menus, then draw the basic elements one by one: walls, doors, windows, columns, beams, slabs, stairs, roofs, railings and furniture. Next you learn sections and elevations, adding dimensions and text, working with sheets, details and grid lines, and importing AutoCAD files, followed by a complete hands-on villa project. The course then moves on to exporting project documents and export options, schedules, render settings, and advanced tools such as Shell, Morph and Mesh, plus live synchronized linking with Lumion. It suits architecture students and graduates and practicing architects, and you do not need any previous experience with the program. By the end, you will be able to draw a complete architectural project, produce its sheets and export it.
