Surveillance Camera Systems
This course explains surveillance camera systems from the basics up to setting up a complete system. It starts with an introduction, then the components of the system, the factors for choosing cameras and their specifications, then lens specifications and additional lens options. After that you learn connection methods and connection devices, display monitors, storage media, ways of supplying electric power, and connecting to the internet to view the cameras remotely. The course then moves to analytic systems and video analysis systems, and integrated systems, with a downloadable workbook. It suits technicians, engineers and anyone who wants to install surveillance cameras for their home or business or enter this field, and no previous experience is needed because the explanation starts from the components. By the end you will be able to choose suitable cameras and lenses, decide on the connection, storage and power setup, and understand how to design a complete surveillance system and connect it to the internet. The explanation is practical and gradual, and it links each component to its role inside the system so you see the full picture.
