If you're a subscriber

Monthly subscription

• Within the first 14 days of starting: full cash refund.
• After 14 days: you can pause the subscription, switch to a smaller plan, or cancel auto-renewal.

6-month or annual subscription

• Within the first 14 days: full cash refund.
• From day 15 to day 30: partial cash refund based on days used.
• After day 30: pause or cancel auto-renewal.

If you bought a course or diploma

The table below is the reference. Find your row and you know exactly what you're entitled to.

Note for diplomas: Diplomas have larger content and a longer commitment, so the full cash-refund window is 7 days instead of 14.

Cash or wallet? Wallet is the win

Any time you're entitled to a cash refund, you can choose wallet credit instead at 120% of the amount paid. So if you paid $100, you get $120 in your wallet.

• Lands the moment we approve, no bank wait.
• No fees deducted.
• Doesn't expire and doesn't lose value.
• Works on any product: courses, diplomas, subscriptions.

Payment-gateway fees: what actually reaches you

To avoid confusion, here's an example: you paid 1,000 EGP by Visa and asked for a refund.

• Within the first 3 days, or our fault (a technical issue, say): the full 1,000 EGP comes back to you. We absorb the bank fees.
• Day 4 to 14, change of mind: roughly 965 EGP comes back. The bank keeps its fees (2–3.5%) and doesn't return them when the transaction is reversed.
• If you paid by Vodafone Cash or InstaPay: the full amount always comes back — no fees on those methods.
• If you choose wallet credit: you get the full value (100% or 120%), no deductions.

Changed your mind on a course before starting?

If it's within the first 7 days of purchase and you've opened the course at 5% or less (i.e. you've barely started), you can swap it for any other course at the same price or lower. Any price difference is added to your wallet. You get two exchanges per year.

• Fast: the replacement course lands in your library within seconds of confirmation. No waiting, no review.
• No fees: the price difference goes to your wallet at face value, zero deductions.
• Once per course: the original swapped course can't be swapped or refunded again later.
• To start: tap Zico and tell it "I want to swap course X for course Y". It will check the conditions and send you a follow-up link.

Your annual limits: relax, you have room

• Refund within the first 72 hours: unlimited, on any new purchase.
• Refunded course or diploma: can't be refunded again even if repurchased. Each product gets one refund chance.
• Cash refund: one free cash refund every 12 months.
• Number of refund requests: up to 4 within any 90-day window; further requests go through manual review before approval.
• Total refunded: not more than 40% of your total spend on the platform. At that ceiling we manually review every request.
• 20% wallet bonus: capped at 500 EGP cumulatively per year. After that the amount returns at face value, no bonus.
• Issues on our side (technical or service): we restore your right and don't count it against your limits.

Arrival times

• Wallet credit: instant.
• Cash refund via Visa or PayPal: 5 to 10 business days to reach your bank.
• Vodafone Cash or InstaPay refund: 2 to 5 business days.
